In today's streaming age, shorter songs definitely have more replay value and more of a chance to succeed than longer songs. Like, that's a fact. Its a terrible analogy TO YOU, but the closest thing we have a pop dance track right now, produced by BloodPop and Gaga, is John Wayne. In fact, its only a terrible analogy because it seems you care more about the charts than the quality, but you cannot deny the fact that the song always felt like it was missing something. The length of a song is irrelevant if it is a quality song, and until we hear the album, we can't judge that but from her entire discography, her shorter songs aren't the ones that did the best or did well. I don't know why this is so hard to understand; if she releases music thats lacking, it won't do well. 'Music, Not the bling'...how far we've come tbh.
