Touring is the source of revenue, but no one will be touring for a long time. Like what do you want her to say each day? Oh yeah we're thinking June! and then the next day May and then follow the next day with August? There's no reason to add more confusion and string everyone along until everything is concrete. The album was already delayed once why on Earth would she announce more information only to have to retract it after? Because some fans going full blown Karen on the internet felt entitled to that information? When she has news and is 100% sure there will be no changes to it she will share it - just have patience. Pandemic aside, the leaks, the lack of communication, the teasing for 3 years, the underwhelming SL single, the video. Gaga you can do better. I think the new album is just another one in her contract that she has to release. So forced. the morale of the fandom is pretty low right now and we know she’s going to stay silent. There's part of Gaga's fanbase that legitimately criticizes others inside of it for worrying about how successful she does in sales and on the charts, purely because Gaga has spoken before about how she doesn't care too much about sales. But the fact is, she does. She just needs to maintain an image. If you worked 4 years on an album it's impossible for you to not care how it's received, and in this industry, how music is received is judged on how well it sells and where it is on the charts. She might care about other things more, sure - in fact, I'm sure she does. But that doesn't mean she doesn't care about her success on the charts at all.
