imagine saying 'its not the right time to release' then posting the cover(?) or track list like 10 days later. that's what makes me think that it was leaked on purpose - as like a controlled way of promoting, and not looking silly after saying 'now isnt the right time' - you give the responsbility to someone else. 

 Now apparently the album is coming this month... what difference did that 6 weeks make? we are still in a pandemic lol

the saving grace was the one world thing - that was great for PR and gave justification for delay.

Now, we know the tour is postponed, and i would be extremely shocked if this album becomes a commerical smash. This is obviously for the fans. So if the plan is to release now then they should brace themselves for an album that may not have big return on invesment - OR they sack of 2020 and wait. 

As well as this - its bad news for the label because Adele is releasing - and you dont want to get caught up in her release schedule - which will no doubt go on for a fair few months

And the thing is... its not likely to be back to normal by next year at the earliest... it could be after summer before we see zero cases of Covid   so she needs to find ways of promoting it and just releasing this album

Some of the “proof” you had was literally the most hyperbolic and exaggerated stuff I’ve ever seen.

The only thing that she “lied” about was announcing stuff soon. Other than that, everything else she said made perfect sense.

The tour? I think she legitimately thought that she’d still be able to have it during the summer. Ignorant? Yeah, but I don’t think she lied.

Her being excited about starting the era again? WE’RE NOT IN A ERA RIGHT NOW. I don’t understand why people can’t understand that. The era has been suspended. Until she releases something, don’t think that we’re in the Chromatica era right now. The only reason she revealed the album cover and track list was cause they leaked early. She wasn’t planning on release those until later.

Please, put a bit more effort into trying to extract “lies” from Gaga before you post.

I tried to be positive yesterday but I am going to call out the issues with her statement when she made it and how she isn’t even tweeting little “news coming soon, very excited monsters.” Or anything. It seems like next week was the target week to start talking about the album again so I’m holding out hope but I can’t sit back and allow people to continually make their own narrative regarding this situation. I can only have so much optimism. 

But the fact that we have to wait for her to release something to even tweet anything like...girl. I dislike how’s she’s more obsessed with winning over the general public then remembering who was there from the start when the public called her crazy and outlandish.
