We just have to wait. The problem is she isn't saying anything and that's made the waiting worse. It's like she forgot that she paused an era. She wasn't going to kickstart one, she was in the middle of it. Other popstars are still communicating with their fans. She's been MIA for days now while her album is slowly leaking. A live action Hercules movie has just been announced, between his statement and Arianna's cover of I Won't Say I'm In Love, I think its clear what the big announcement is. Late night TV is still going ahead, they’ve adapted. Artists are releasing music and are turning to social media and online communication to make their eras eventful. So she can definitely come back now. Except what’s gonna happen is she’s gonna act like she was forced to release, put zero enthusiasm into the era, fail to embrace, she’s basically gonna drop and dip. Gaga clearly doesnt care anymore about fans to leave us in the dark this long in regards to everything. There'll be no tours during the summer, there's not going to be performances on tv unless they decide to do them with minimal dancers. The wait for the album is gonna hype the album to unbelievable standards that it will never meet at this point. Either release it or scrap it, but make a statement. It feels like she's trying to wait out for things to reopen enough so she can at least execute some more of the visuals and promotional plans she already had but in a limited capacity. Joanne was the album that could have pulled off a release in this kind of situation, at home performances and low key visuals that don't scream BUDGET. But the more we learn about Chromatica the more obvious it is that this is a second attempt at the multimedia concepts with electronic dance music she aimed for during ARTPOP - but much like ARTPOP the plans are getting foiled again, this time by something totally out of her control. It feels more than anything she is refusing to give up the concepts and plans she already made. We'll see how it all works out though I suppose.
