"Before the Mockinjay there was another songbird. Who is the girl from District 12?"

Theory: The Mockingjay symbol has been passed from hand to hand til Katniss started the revolution. It could've belonged to the mysterious girl Snow mentors and this is why he recognizes the symbol in Katniss chest after he declares her as winner alongside with Peeta.

A complete classic. Suzanne Collins the modern day Shakespeare I think. J.K Rowling couldn’t do it!

She's truly expanding THG Universe in a good way! She's connecting everything.

Spoiler

They released an audio of Suzanne reading a bit of the book. Turns out Tigris is Snow's cousin!

Both are inspired by the gladiators arenas.

You should read them both. There's similarities but THG is a whole universe and that's been expanded right now. Battle Royale is a standalone.

THG plot is really rich. Mockingjay is an amazing novel!

But JK Rowling singlehandedly invented modern young adult fiction. So seethe.

This was an official message from the Office of the First Lady.

It’s a prequel to the original trilogy.
