She has the fairy and heart emojis on the caption, the same ones she uses every time she posts something Chromatica related.

Spoiler

I'm an enigma

Enigma

Don't try and find me

Enigma

Enigma

You can't replace me

You can call me Stefani

You can call me Gaga

You can say I can't be found

You can say Enigma

Enigma

Enigma

You can't replace me

Enigma

Enigma

Don't try and find me

If these fan made lyrics I wrote in 2018 aren't real I'm gonna be really upset.

Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything

Her recent adoption of the word has been very amusing to me, she stopped being an enigma many years ago, we know enough about her already, her fans know what she’s going to say in interviews, and she’s allowed her celebrity to take over her artistry. Very few people study her art and actions these days, and apart from the overly conservative dimwits who accuse her of being part of an evil cult, people are not puzzled and intimidated by her anymore.

The facility to imitate Lady Gaga has broadened beyond her fashion.

Is she aware?

Her usage of the term is pretty broadly different from how she may have meant it at the beginning of her career. When she uses it in Enigma, it’s not meant to imply to the public that she is essentially mysterious or unattainable; quite the opposite, Enigma, as a character in the show, is representative of all of the parts of her that feel misunderstood. No matter how her public persona has shifted and discourse surrounding her work as changed, the fact that she may feel misunderstood both internally and externally could easily be material she utilizes for the song. Frankly, we don’t even necessarily know what the song is about, so to assume that is essentially about her trying to recreate an aura of mystery, as opposed to knowingly referencing her past and moving past it or reappropriating it is entirely speculative.

Enigma: Hello, Gaga

Lady Gaga: Oh my god, who are you? Who’s this b*tch?! (:toofunny:)

E: I  am your Enigma :enigma:

L.G: You are my what?!

E: I’m exactly that question, really. I am the mystery of you :enigma:

L.G: Yas, I love a good mystery! :sis:

It’s implied that it’s both, we are both trying create different narratives based on the Vegas show, though I admit I stated mine as a fact, and you did a better job constructing yours as an open possibility and alternative. I would gladly stand corrected.
