ABC's Senior Vice President said that ABC was now working with Apple to continue the show.

"We are blessed to live in a day and age where we have technology, even if this had happened five years ago, I don't know if it would be possible," he said. "There is a real can-do spirit here that is exciting and exhausting, it's been fun to figure it out."
 

"These are kids who are really used to iPhone technology, they are really familiar with it and use it every day. In the end, we decided rather than send them some complicated camera that you really need a camera operator to use, we would go with the the technology that they're familiar with," Kinane told Deadline.

i hope this trend doesn't continue for much longer, i know the coronavirus has kinda ruined filming of tv shows but loads of shows are doing this MQ livestream on Skype quality or this pre-recorded kinda HD quality and it's becoming grating for me.

Like here in the UK there's a show called Have I Got News For You that i've watched that usually has a live audience but they did it on livestream from their homes and... the lack of audience laughter made me realise how unfunny they were  I hope after the virus is done people stop with the livestreaming and stuff

Idk if Apple plugging their product into a redundant show that treats their contestants like trash is the kind of impact we should strive for - if that's the best we can get, that galaxy is starting to look pretty good
