So im not a big fan of David Bowie, however i do enjoy a lot of his songs, and i think about how much he has inspired Gaga, and still do,( if dont belive me, check out the Babylon snippet), i love hearing is music and having it remind me of Gaga :firega:

How do you monsters feel about David Bowie? i know there has been some controversy but i want to know your personal opinion on THE music, lets talk music!

I love him and have my whole life even if his taste in pop music is suspect. The whole not getting Gaga thing is ridiculous for him to say because he has always been just as weird and controversial. And he was wrong about Lorde.

David Bowie is a legend, I love seeing his influence on Gaga. I’d be lying if I said I’m all that familiar with his music (obviously I know a good handful of hits), but he is a legend who should always been remembered and cherished, a true genius for his music and his artistic vision!

Omg when did he say that? Didn’t Gaga have a letter from him framed in her house though?

Does it matter? Damage is done

The weird thing is that I love HIM more than his music, if that makes any sense. Like his artistry, his journey, his voice, his persona, his personality, his aura, his interviews. All of it. But i’m only keen on about approximately half his discography.

I love his music. He has so many great songs, too many to name here, but some of my personal favorites include "Changes," "Let's Dance," "Modern Love," "Rebel Rebel," "Life on Mars," "Space Oddity," "Starman," and "Heroes." I also was terrified of him as a kid when I watched Labyrinth (he played the Goblin King). I remember my best friend's little sister had a huge crush on him from that movie, however.

Bowie the person I don't know about – the stories about there of him having sex with minors are upsetting. I appreciate the art but imagine Bowie the person was extremely problematic, at least in his younger days.

not really sure if i hear Bowie in Gaga's sound... don't think of him as a direct musical influence on Gaga's music... I see him more as an overall inspiration in terms of his style, performance etc.

I agree with you. Also Gaga’s live performances are more like Elton than Bowie.

Oh definitely, there's a lot of Elton's musical influence in Gaga's music... I'm struggling to think of something Bowiesque about Gaga's music.
