All jokes aside, maybe that ARTPOP wasn’t bad, it’s just that everything that was major in that year overshadowed it in terms of music quality. You have self titled, pure heroine, 20/20 experience, run the jewels and the electric lady coming out in the same year. Which eventually makes ARTPOP unnecessary.
