The scribbled music sheets :ladyhaha:

The awkward cute Gaga smiles only Gaga can do :ladyhaha:

The fact that she’s smiling at all the gays who wanted Stupid Love instead :ladyhaha:

Seriously though, her voice is so unique, beautiful, and timeless and this was a legendary performance

I'm still shook  She is so good. Her inner Gaganess surfaces here and there during the performance :ally:

You know what? I was literally just thinking about how classic Gaga's voice sounds when she sings in her jazz style :bradley:  its so timeless and so classic, very unique and her vocals have many facets to it. Many layers.

But if you close your eyes and forget its 2020, literally this performance of "Smile" sounds like something in the 1950s or 60s... perhaps earlier. Thats how classic Gaga's voice is :nooo:

The way she plays the sh!t out of that piano, and slays those vocals, while having her little mannerisms when she performs... :nooo:

A whole ass yes please from me too. Her jazz voice is glorious and the way you can feel her joy when she sings it is everything.

This was such a gorgeous performance and her vocals were beautifully clear, pure, and smooth. It’s 3.30 in the morning and I am fully emotional over our tiny legend.

I go back and forth on the pacing changes she made. I think initially it felt like she rushed the sad parts like “though your heart is breaking” which felt weird BUT as the song went on I acclimated to it and really loved it especially once she got more into the song. Also the perfect way to start the show. There’s so many sad songs she could have picked. Heck, even this one could have been performed in a very somber way as it often is, but I loved that she chose to arrange it more brightly for this performance. And the little vaudeville bits were great especially since it’s such an old song I like that it emphasizes the timelessness of it. Overall great, quick little ditty to kick things off!

You can really hear that she has fun with jazz and the vocal control was great. I know lots of us were saying her vocals are dead during enigma but honestly I think that it was the switching styles between J&P and Enigma. She didn’t sound bad but touring/residencies themselves are hard on the vocals let alone doing the kind she was doing. Clearly her voice is as clear and strong as ever and she seems so happy.
