Awakened M 3,056 Posted April 18, 2020 Share Posted April 18, 2020 Hello everyone. Umm. I'm Magid, but I go by Awakened M in the realm of video games, art, and music. (Awake for short) I'm not a signed artist or anything prominent, but I am genuine and dedicated. The last time I made a post was my first EP, and it happened to fall on the same day ARTPOP was rush released I think. A lot of you destroyed my feelings, and thought I was capitalizing on it. The thread was ultimately removed. With the polarizing environment that we are undergoing, as well as the state of how things are in this forum in general, I've decided to finally start expressing myself even more. Some of you already have seen what I post, quote, and react to. Some of you know that I'm a huge, passionate gamer nerd/fan. So I've finally decided that I want you all to know me beyond that. So I've decided to share some of my works in progress of songs new and old to demonstrate some of my growth and promise. If you don't like it, that is fine. Just give me constructive criticism. However, I've gotten a lot more polished and would love to surprise everyone at some point. And last but not least is a song I'm currently working on Also if you wondered if I do vocals... Yes I am drunk, but I needed a push. Those are some hot beats. After quarantine is over I’m gonna blast that, I’ll guarantee my friends will love it. Are you going to release some stuff on Spotify? So I thought it's the most appropriate approach to be vocal about during these times. Chromatica is supposedly dancing through pain. I have different albums aligned with different states of mind. But yours got kinda a very dark sound to it and that makes it so special I think. Not sure if I would label it “dance music” though.
