So, is Beyonce getting credited for a number one? I'm going to fume.

This is a cheap tactic to get another number one.
Honestly, Billboard should prohibit artists from hopping onto quick little remixes to ride on the coattails of already successful songs. This is simply not fair.

Also, I'd just like to point out Sarah Tanno did the impeccable makeup for this video. :golfclap:

What if the remix is why it went #1?

By your standard, Billy Ray Cyrus wouldn't be credited for Old Town Road which is also extremely unfair.

Not fair to whom? At the end of the day Billboard track the song. They couldn't care less about the Beehive getting cocky :laughga: neither should we, you can always remind them Bey hasn't had a solo hit since two decades ago.

Well, I get your point but what they could do when the remix is simply the version doing better now and Savage solo was already peaking on streaming and wouldn't have gotten this boost instead...

The true fraud is Bey attaching her name to the already existing airplay though. That's definitely not fair and they shouldn't count that.

Because tens of millions of audience impressions from the original version without Beyoncé are credited to Beyoncé so it artificially inflates the chart points of the remix.

I was talking about hot 100 position mostly. The remix still gives tons of sales and streams so it Bey deserves the credit like any other remix artist.

Yeah I mean if the additional sales and streams add a significant amount of points it’s logical that she gets credited.
