The gays were the one's that made Joanne the initial short success but Gaga worked hard to bring this album to the GP and that's why Joanne didn't completely flop. Without the gays still having Gaga's back Joanne would've immediately flopped and she wouldn't have any chance for a comeback. The only reason why Gaga made her comeback was because she already has a loyal fanbase unlike Katy who never had one, which is why I think Katy won't ever have a comeback.
