Yes but I mean, imagine her releasing an album in the same tone of 21/25 every 1-2 years... She should have needed to reinvent her sound or she would have suffered of overexposure and people would have got tired at some point. 

Her numbers are really impressive and nobody has been able to gather basically every demo (like she did) for decades now, but surely this long wait between albums is a strong point in her strategy. And Rihanna is actually doing the same now...

Take into consideration this week we had 24 new entries on the hot 100 between drake and lil baby's album bombs (+2 lil baby songs reentering). This meant they sent a quarter of the hot 100 OUT. That's another factor that makes it likely that SL might reenter, and maybe  YSBS will rise too.

Yeah. It’ll totally get another week or two in the hot 100, mostly due to the album dropping in two weeks.

This is how I feel, Top 5 status, will end up being platinum with over 200M Spotify streams and over 100M views in YT by the end of the year. Way more successful than PI, hopefully ROM can be a smash we’re looking for. 
 

but I’m not gonna look down on my good sis SL, she did what she could and I’ll take it. Still Gaga’s highest charting debut since 2011 so it will always have a place in my Gaga chart heart

How blame her though.... She's a businesswoman now and she's making tons of money with Fenty Beauty, Savage, Fenty the brand... Money are not in music anymore with streaming taking over (except for tours). 

Surely Gaga tried a similar approach with Haus Labs (ok don't laugh at this but the purpose stands) and Vegas, this is where money come from in the end.

In my opinion? No. Stupid Love is more of a fan favorite album exclusive like Scheiße or Dance In The Dark than single materiel.

I mean SL was certainly a disappointment charts-wise and it should’ve done way way better coming off the ASIB era, but at least it did something on the charts.

Even Gaga’s worst performing singles have some certifications and a cute peak, her only official single to BOMB was G.U.Y. Other than that her singles are always in the “hit” territory even if they’re minor ones.

When her singles start missing the Hot 100 and don’t sell enough to get a measly gold certification then we’re truly screwed. We are lucky that even at her worst Gaga wasn’t bombing like Katy .

Gaga is not an icon. She's more than that. She's a certified legend after ASIB. What she achieved with ASIB was incredible. Slaying every metrics possible in the entertainment's business : streaming, pure sales, awards, box office smash, top singles, top albums, radios, DVD's sales, nominations and wins in the most prestigious acting award ceremonies...etc. She was the queen EVERYWHERE.

None of the pop girls have achieved this entertainment's domination this century. Slaying the music charts, slaying the WW box-office, slaying the acting/music award ceremonies...etc 11 years in her career. Gaga is truly the next Barbara Streisand.

I will always remember this incredible era. The amount of "shookness" reaction I had during this era...
