- According to ATRL, Taylor Swift's "ME!" got pulled from radio on May 23, and "You Need to Calm Down" got sent to Pop radio on June 18, which is approximately 3 weeks to make room for the new single.
- Similary, Katy Perry's "Never Really Over" got pulled from radio around August 4, and "Small Talk" got sent to Pop radio on August 20,

Considering that "Stupid Love" got pulled from radio on April 22, and "Rain on Me" is rumored to be released on May 15/22, everything definitely makes sense now.

You need 3 weeks to make room for your next pop radio single. Ladies, get ready...
