Well at this point everyone seems to be mistreated on that show. When Paulina Rubio was on Ellen, she was treated as a joke and Ellen was very rude to her.

That’s not as bad as I expected it to be. I usually like her but the entitlement in her complaining about not being able to use the closest toilet. :flop:

She just doesn't sound like a nice person. There are plenty of people from guests to even her workers providing receipts.

Even from a watcher, I'll never watch Ellen again after she forced Mariah to confirm if she is pregnant by drinking alcohol. It was disgusting.

In my messy era.

She's not the only one complaining about Ellen, you should look up stories of former employees... Ellen ain't the saint you think her to be... actually she seems to be the total opposite :saladga:

There is also this:

https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/ellen-crew-furious-over-poor-communication-regarding-pay-non-union-workers-during-coronavirus-shutdown-exclusive-1234582735/

Crew members from Ellen DeGeneres’ long-running daytime talk show are distressed and outraged over their treatment from top producers amid the coronavirus pandemic, numerous insiders affiliated with the series told Variety.

The core stage crew for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” consisting of more than 30 employees, received no written communication about the status of their working hours, pay, or inquiries about their mental and physical health from producers for over a month, said two sources, both of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity. Higher-ups in production would occasionally answer phone calls but reveal little, added one of the sources. The crew was further incensed by the show’s recent hire of an outside, non-union tech company to help DeGeneres tape remotely from her home in California.

When production executives finally did weigh in, nearly all crew members were told last week to brace for a 60% reduction in pay, even as the show continues to air, according to sources close to the matter.

Well it seems like she was, like she said, a little naive expecting a confetti welcome. But it's too bad she had a bad experience. Hopefully it doesn't bother her too much

Wikileaks Emails Exposed Ellen as Willing State Department Puppet

A leaked 2009 memo in an email exchange with then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton singled out The Ellen Degeneres Show which could be used to “amplify and deliver messages that advance policymaking.” The memo stated that Ellen DeGeneres is willing to use her platform to promote the agenda of the State Department.

In another leaked official State Department exchange, a top government aide and the Secretary of State discuss Ellen Degeneres’ quote, “willingness to do whatever we ask.”
