Dunk96 2,526
I think it is the best love song ever created. Although IWALY is a great song,I almost slightly prefer I Have Nothing just a bit more. Fame Romance 10,517
I mean, I wouldn't consider it a "love song" stricly speaking, it's more of a heartbreak/nostalgic past love souvenir song. Even I Will Always Love You is a song of this same type. I would consider both songs as probably the best "love related songs" ever created quality/impact wise. GovernmentHookah 902
The best version of My Heart Will Go On is the soundtrack version. For some reason the radio version kills the mood of the song because it turns it into a pop mainstream type song while the version that is played after the movie is over in the end credits sounds more sublime and haunting with the orchestra playing in the background. In my opinion, My Heart Will Go On is the best original song for a movie that’s ever been made:
VasilisVas 5,203
I haven’t heard that song in ages, but yes, it’s a truly iconic song. Another personal favorite of Celine is It’s All Coming Back to me Now.

The original is the best imo too. Whitney's honestly isn't my favorite cover of the song either. When they were making the version on the Bodyguard soundtrack, they brought in Linda Ronstadt's cover from the mid 1970s and tried to emulate parts of it. I really enjoy Linda's version:
