Why do people not like Million Reasons?

I don’t like it because it just doesn’t click with me. Which is odd because I love country and I love stripped music. But then again, Joanne the album doesn’t click with me either. But I still acknowledge that a ton of people love it and it is beautiful.

because the studio version was so bland

the live version on the other hand was sooooo good, very powerful and emotional vocals compare to the toned down studio version :ohwell:

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

For me it's because I don't like her vocals on the recorded version, and I find the lyrics to be too repetitive on the verses. It also reminds me of the overall Joanne vibe which I didn't like.

The song has become a classic in her repertoire though, especially for the GP.

It's a great song!

But yeah, a big part of GGD doesn't seem to have interest in it, see my topic from yesterday as well, where there's just tumbleweeds and not even 1 comment... :awkney:

I love the song!

My only critique of it is the section where she says "good one, good one" over and over. It's a tad repetitive, but overall, it's a fantastic song.

Me gusta.

I've always loved MR - stand out track when I first heard the album. It deserves to be Joanne's biggest hit ;-)

I remember the first time I heard Million Reasons while live-streaming the Dive Bar Tour, and right after that the song was released. I just thought to myself “I think this might be my favorite thing she’s ever done.” It’s still most likely in my top 5. It’s so simple yet beautiful, and it’s so full of soul.

Simply because they love to hate on things gaga holds dear to her heart. She really loves that song and because it's not a dance song, its gonna get hated

Not really, I just find it cringey and sonically uninteresting. I usually love her ballads but this one is definitely not it for me.

Soft, soothing, and succulent

We don’t like it because we LUV it.

The Million Reasons era was a serve honestly. The way she changed the song a bit each and everytime she performed it. Her enigmatic mind ughh it amazes me sometimes.

What? :what: we waited 3 months to have one of the worst music videos I've ever seen from a pop girl

Her performances were great, but unlike what people pretend, we only had like 6-7 of them

Because people have different taste! And I love MR. My friend told me a day ago that MR and DWUW are her best songs:hor:

We don’t talk about the music video. The song IS great and it had it’s success in US.
