Why do people not like Million Reasons?

Only cause it was promoted a lil bit too much. I kinda started to hate it at one point too cause of that but it’s just one  of Gaga’s best songs so i kept listening after a short break and now i’m still in love with it. I love to sing it

I don't understand the hate it gets. It is beautiful.

I love the song but I was frustrated that it was the only song from that era that Gaga pushed. There were so many great tracks from Joanne but that seemed to be the only song from the era she performed live...over and over again.

it's a great song, just don't care about the religious undertones - but that's part of who she is and she sounds amazing singing it! So I'm happy it exists and was a hit for her

I think Dope is very loved within the fanbase, I always get lmao and sad reactions when I say I hate the song. But if it's really not liked, rightfully so 

I think Paper Gangsta is actually another song that's not hated at all and a guilty pleasure for many. If it is hated, shame on the tasteless.

Disco Heaven is hated, I don't know why. It's not a bad song.

Now, I don’t think it gets a lot of hate per se, it’s just a song that get performed to hell and back and so fans joke about that a lot. But not all of them actually dislike the song.

Same! I have the album version, worktape and a live performance downloaded and in my "chill" playlist   

I love Million Reasons a lot! But I can definitely see why fan might not like it... especially because she moved on from Perfect Illusion so quickly and almost "forced" MR down people's throats...  and the fact she only seemed to perform MR so many times

I don't like Dope... I think sonically its a mess and it doesn't fit the album   its one of her worst ballads imo

The real question is : why do GGD people not like Million Reasons ? 

Cause MR is at 400M+streams on Spotify /200M+views for the MV and 100M+views for the audio 

the song is 3XPlatinum in the US

The only people hating on it are the one's tasteless and with the lowest IQ.

MR is one of her best songs ever and in top 5 of what the general public knows and loves from her.

The fact that 4 years later, gets 100M streams yearly on spotify(outstreaming daily even songs from the same year that went #1) speaks for itself on how the song cemented itself as a global classic.
