Everything from the lyrics, to her amazing vocals (which she should've won a grammy for), to the melody, it is an amazing song. I don't understand the hate it gets. It is beautiful. You and I was very intense so people liked it, but many fans find piano ballads boring. However, people joking about Gaga performing it often is a different thing because she did perfom it often to the point when expecting new Million Reasons performances became a sort of joke within the fanbase. As a ballad it’s pretty “weak” compared to others by Gaga, which all have some kind of edge to them, MR is really simple. Lyrically and sound wise - it’s pretty generic. I appreciate the song and her love for it so I don’t care if she performs it but I myself don’t enjoy ballads like that and it’s not something I’d listen to. It’s just my personal taste. Some of you need to learn that you don’t have to like everything she does because not everything is for everyone. I don’t hate on that song but I don’t like it ether.
