@bowie1986 I was really impressed by the mood and lyrics of this song, but the bottomline is that I don't really want to revisit it ever. If I'm going to sit and listen to the whole album, I appreciate its place in the narrative. But, otherwise, I don't see myself going back to it often.

@tomsches Cool balad

@ororo munroe This song is so magical, melody is so beautiful, stunning

@Sestri Levante I feel like the reason why I gave a lower score on is because I was in love with the version that leaked...

@littlefreakster It doesn't sound particularly interesting, but still on par in terms of quality with the rest of the album.

@adterp This should have been the opener. Great progression and intensity and ughh, her voice. I don't understand what she is talking about nor the direction and from her explanations in itw, neither does she. Transcending atmosphere, the second verse is amazing.

@Ctouf I almost never listen to this one. It's an OK track. Not the biggest fan of it though. Not a skip but I would not listen to it on loop.

@bradleycooper Kinda of forgettable for me

@Lois Griffin The ideas that go into this track are a great example of why I appreciate Grimes as an artist. Unfortunately, I never find myself reaching for this track.

There goes my 11 omfg

Soft, soothing, and succulent

COMMENTS

@bowie1986 The opening 90 seconds of this song is among my favorite on the entire album. The way the bass pans with the clippy drums and the tumbling bricks effect. It's highly cinematic and is expert world-building for the track and for the album at large. I do think the song drags a little, but that may just be a result of my strong preference for the beginning of the track.

@tomschesWhen I first heard it, I was underwhelmed to say the least. But it grew on me and I don't mind anymore that it's long. It's a good opener.

@Andreu Not gonna lie, it took me a while to get into this song, since I don't think it's an easy song to listen. But once you get used to its unique sound it has a lot of interesting elements, specially in the production, but the vocal melody is great as well.

@efrs291 It’s a solid opener.

@ororo munroe Very underrated song, it has unique character and sound, love it

@GayPrideUnicorn I got bored of this song in autumn. I just listened the algorithm mix but with the album I listened to the art mix the first time since the single release and omg the part where the algorithm mix would end but the art mix has beat drop is just... heavenly.

@Sestri Levante I love the spacey dance-hall feel it brings. I wish Grimes had placed WAP as the first track, making it fade into this one. That's how I listen to it.

@littlefreakster This song just, like, otherworldly. It is something I haven't heard in a long while in music, and that makes it so good.

@adterp Unpopular opinion I think, but this song has grown on me so much to become one of my actual fave from MA. I love when she goes full atmospheric. Perfect song to regret your decisions, also great for after-sex. I don't understand why this is the opener tho, to me it screams closure.

@Ctouf Great opener, I really love the production but something sounds off. I don't really know how to explain it. The outro is giving my chills though!!! My favourite part of the song for sure.

@BradleyCooper Beautiful and atmospheric, but a little slow for my taste. Perfect for relaxing background music when I work though.

@Lois Griffin I appreciate it as an auditory landscape, but less so as a stand-alone song. It does a great job at introducing the world of the album. As Fantano said, it kind of runs out of ideas halfway through. Love the Game of Thrones sample!

If You'll Miss Me cracks the top 5, I will fume (I say this as someone who loves this whole album, but believes in JUSTICE). Disappointed about BTF, but I think everything thus far has been defensible
