Well it's difficult when people join a cult/religion where they believe an entity/god/angels will save them from any threats of this world and that everything 'is happening for a reason', 'he's watching', 'do not fear' just translate to do not wash ur hands, pray, do not follow orders from scientists and doctors, just pray and things will be okay, because God will save you cus ur so special, there are so many people dying out of hunger, murder, disease but God will choose to save YOU in particular out of any other creatures of this planet!
