Humans have never created a "new" genuine organism. The best thing a biological lab can do is to mix different genetic materials of already existing species to create a "chimera" or hybrids. 

Only nature with the mysterious genetic mutation can create a new species. 

As base on studies SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) is not a chimera of other existing or known viruses but rather a genuine new strain or subfamily of Corona viruses as revealed by it's genetic data and distinct features.

29% sounds very low lol and as we can see by this thread, lots of people believe this. And most of you are wrong, this virus is not part of a conspiracy theory.

 

Anyway, it's very very unlikely the virus is from a lab. It's genetics have been studied. And for anyone who knows how  live animal markets are in China, it's not very hard to predict what might arise from there.

This new virus seems to be a recombination of two virus, seen in bats and pangolins. The virus seems to have its origins in bats, then went to pangolins, and from pangolins to humans (pangolins are used in "Chinese traditional medicine").

To me it's more believable that someone ate  a bat (  ) and got infected and went around spreading it....

If China created this, why would they create a virus that destroyed their own economy? The Chinese economy is in the slums because of coronavirus. I doubt they would do it on purpose. It's their fault the virus developed and spread, no doubt. But I don't think it was done on purpose

I’m confused. Are humans really able to create a new virus or do you guys mean they made a mutation of a pre-existent virus?!

I wish I could give this a million reacts!! So much truth to this. China, Japan, and Korea put in strict shutdown measures. Vietnam is even applauded for how well they reacted to the virus outbreak: people in quarantine even receive three free meals, sanitizing materials and masks--and there's no deaths since their shutdown measures.

Meanwhile, even in the cities where "stay-at-home" has been implemented, you still have idiots going out for runs all of the sudden and meandering around grocery stores; some don't even enact it because people cry that their "liberties and freedoms" would be taken away, and that it's somehow anti-American?

And yes to everything being made in China because many countries (mainly the US) have chosen to outsource much of their manufacturing to China and other countries (e.g. Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh) in order to widen their profit margins. So many manufacturing jobs in the US have been killed by the greed of companies like 3M by exporting their productions to areas where labor costs them pennies.

Also a lot of Americans can’t afford to go to a proper school and went mass buying weapons when the pandemic was announced.

If you do your research you’ll see that this hypothesis was first written by a team of scientist that found out some of the RNA was similar to the HIV virus but was soon taken down by the same scientists because they were wrong about their analysis.

People who spread misleading informations are dangerous as much as the virus
