For example, like, ever since I became a Gaga stan, which was ten - TEN - years ago, I've been seeing the same middle-aged (tho now it's not middle-aged I guess ) Madonna fan, and I can even name him because that's how many times I've seen his name, in nearly EVERY news post about Gaga, trying to put her down. I even blocked him a few times, and yet I keep seeing him, which means he probably gets blocked from pages and creates new accounts, which takes the obsession to a whole another level This level of obsession is honestly unhealthy. Spoiler the fact that I can name a random person off the net is also unhealthy but I don't forget stuff, I just don't So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted. Theres a certain level of immaturity amongst the worst of this fanbase, which is less actively volatile than the worst of the beyhive or barbs for example. All of the above though have a very blatant immaturity level. But the Madonna stans that actively hate infiltrate media to do so with a knowledge and arrogance of what they are doing. Its a lot more malicious in a way thats smarter and therefore more successful. The bad press behind The Born This Way Ball for example was mostly perpetuated by journalists who were Madonna fans and were seizing the opportunity to publically revel in Gaga having some kind of backlash. I get what you're saying but theres a very clear difference between the ways in which they manipulate to give Gaga bad press vs. the more childish nature of other fanbases. And thats highlighted in the fact that their actions had at one point in time succeeded in dulling her shine. Anyone who tries to compare and act as if we are collectively just as bad are not only wrong, they're irresponsibly allowing those actions to go unaccounted for.
