Miami Winter Festival happened in March and people won't stop blaming them for continuing to run the party which resulted in infections and deaths. They would have a field day with Gaga. Not to mention Gaga health is not in that great a place so for her to tour would put her at greater risk.

It’s not productive and it only serves to worsen the anxieties of those who are already grappling with this. I agree about the anxiety and I apologize if it triggered anybody. I'm obviously not an expert but fairly educated. My number is definitely random mathematics but... 2 000 people are dying everyday in the US. A lot of the Trump electors still think this is a made up thing and believe this is an hoax from China... Look at what's going on in Spain and Italy. Not trying to pick up a fight but this thread is reaaaally cringy seeing members throwing around that they're ready to catch the Coronavirus as long as they can go to the Chromatica tour. I know it's a joke and part of the stan culture but maybe we should try to elevate the debate in a serious thread like this...
babs441 124
Dr. Fauci said that life would be back to normal by November and that anti body tests would be available in the next week or two. I BELIEVE him. NO way concerts are going to take that long to return. Trump ( I hate him but I really want him to be right for once) said stadiums will be filled by august. God willing they. will I can not handle another cancellation. Also the Chicago mayor said it's to early to cancel anything including Lollapolazza. I have tickets for the chicago show and NJ is supposed to hit peak soon.

heavymlover 340
I mean, I suppose it's fair to expect more control in mass events, but at the end of the day live music and sports are a multimillion dollar business that can't afford to wait a whole year before they start to schedule events again. An effective vaccine/treatment should be a reality way before that. These events aren't cancelled during flu/pneumonia season, anyway. Once a cure has been widely spread, we will just have to move on.

Oh and by the way, it literally says on your link that 60,124 americans will die by May 21 so my statement is not a far stretch. Maybe you should make an effort to educate yourself and actually read what you're posting.

Live music and other things with massive crowds are going to be the last thing to go back to normal. Lollapalooza will absolutely get cancelled, they just don’t want to say it yet—it’s possible C3 just doesn’t have the liquid funds to issue refunds right now so they’re figuring that out, or Chicago’s holding out false hope because they don’t want to lose the revenue And all timelines are estimates right now. No one knows for sure what’s going to happen when—not even Fauci reality’s tight if the music is right

Daily # of deaths will be decreasing from here on out. You’re wrong. You cannot edit your post and try to spin this around on me. You know what you said. Also the estimates have been going down it started with 100,000 to 200,000 deaths, then it went to 100,000 then 80,000 and now 60,000. Thats a great thing! It's a little light at the end of the tunnel.

Once again, please read, I edited my post to erase the part about the number that could create anxiety but put it right back. Was I wrong about the first part that said "You seriously think only 40 000 persons are going to die in the next couple of months?!". Probably, we'll see. I think this whole thing is a huge question mark and that no one can actually really tell what's going to happen. The point that I was trying to make was to say that this part "At the rate we're going, we'll probably be at 60 000 dead americans by the beginning of May" was not that wrong. This is not really a productive conversation, I'm not an expert and you're probably not as well. Only time will tell. I obviously hope that you're right.
