Why are people still obsessing over an album we will never get and literally knew nothing about? LG5 was almost 4 years ago, it's time to move on and quit crying about what didn't happen. She gave us one of the best albums of her career instead.

joanne is trash. i don’t get how people say otherwise.

I understand that: they are different but in a good way in my opinion. However my favorite lyrics from that era are from an unrealeased song: Deep Blue.
Do you mind telling me which album of hers has the best lyrics in your opinion?

I'd say TFM has one of her best and smartest lyrics along with BTW..

He produced masterpieces for so many artists (kat deluna-lady gaga-shakira-jlo-nicki-asher- enriqur Iglesias etc) he even produced the real madrid anthem .

That was half a decade ago. He hasn't produced anything notable in years. His most recent work sounds like this:

Mhm I wouldn’t call earthquake and the greatest thing, brooklyn nights, fancy paints, animal, trash.

there are some really good pop records that didn’t make the albums overall theme, and they have millions of views on YouTube, so don’t act like 5 people downloaded them.

Don't think so ..

The lead single lowered my expectations.. i hope the rest of the album is nothing like SL.

But SL is just one piece of the puzzle... It's great song with kinda messy visuals but I'm sure it all make sense. We have to wait for the final results.

At least that's what I believe... :billie:

No, there are 8 songs that Gaga and RedOne recorded that were so bad that they ended up in the trash. Those are called leftovers, Gaga has leftovers from every single one of her albums, like every other artist does. The way you are talking about it makes it sound like there was a finished product full of Bad Romances that was scrapped for no reason. I don't understand why you would want to hear songs that weren't good enough to be released.

“This record is like, looking at myself as a cadaver”

She gave you guys and interview which is maybe still online somewhere in GGD. She had another direction she was going in, heavily inspired by AHS, very dark, very “decay of the popstar” like ARTPOP should’ve been.

It is one thing to be happy with what we got and praise what she ended up doing, it is another to neglect the existence of an album which never saw the light of day.

She literally made Joanne in 6 months. She had another album, maybe not finished or ready or good enough for her, but there definitely was another LG5

Stupid love isn’t a bad song. It’s a good pop song.

Guys...don't be mean to Redone :S Just because members sometimes over do the praising about him does not mean we need to bash him like that. His time has come and gone (as it has for many producers and artists). It's normal. That does not discredit the wonderful work he did with Gaga nor does it negate the idea that perhaps one of those 8 songs was actually potentially great as some speculate. If some members still want Gaga to work with him, release a song with him etc...i don't see why it would ignite such reactions out of some of yall? Always remember that out of many of Gaga's ex collaborators he is one of the nicest and most respectful. He sometimes slips up and praises his involvement a bit too much but that is on rare occasions and he ALWAYS makes sure to praise Gaga to the high heavens. Let's not.

thnx for the WPs when i literally just gave my opinion. joanne is a bad album to me. i think just another day, pi, mr, and jw are cute but the rest of the songs are some of her worst. that florence and the machine duet is a disgrace. but i guess i really hurt your feelings with this one :billie:

This is pure pop perfection. You can ofc dislike it, but to say RedOne isn’t an amazing producer and those alleged 8 tracks were surely terrible is... idk

I don’t get why every single Gaga fansite have lately turned into Gaga “no matter what” praising accounts, to the extent it really seems like they’re kissing her *** (disclaimer: it’s just a thought, not referring to anyone in particular)

we can’t even have a convo on how much we would like to hear those redone songs that we need to be reminded that Joanne is a masterpiece and we have to thank her for giving us the album of the millennium. Like, cm’on

This is literally not true. Ronson began working on Joanne in late 2015 (source), which means it took about a year.

She literally had one session with RedOne. Those 8 "songs" are probably just rough demos and ideas.

This is what fans have been saying on PopJustice in 2015, before Ronson even joined the project:

She's only had one (?) writing session with RedOne so far. I'm not expecting him to have extensive involvement. Rhombus, Feb 23, 2015.

There is no "original LG5" and you will never hear a Lady Gaga and RedOne song again 🤷🏻‍♂️

I remember her talking about "the clock ticking" and the end of the ARTPOP tour and then her constant reference to time and clocks.... hmmm

She begins josnne with a countdown... probably refering from the clockticking

I'm sorry, but if you think that's a good song with good production I don't know what to tell you...
