Considering your view that social distancing is not yet a proven strategy, how do you think we should be combating the virus (given that there is no vaccine atm)? Personally, and I'm an Economics and Neuropsychology major, so my knowledge on virology is limited; I believe that we should be pooling all of our resources into mass, mandatory testing--not just for symptomatic people. this will help us get a better grasp on how deadly the virus is. In the meanwhile, business should remain open, and life should carry on as close to normal; but with heavy emphasis on sanitation. Masks should be encouraged for people who work in close proximity to others indoors. An anti-body test should be the main focus after testing (because it is my belief that a lot more people than we realize have had covid19), and this will give us an idea on wether or not herd immunity has been achieved. There should be government mandated quarantines for people over the age of 65, or with the 7 pre-existing conditions that have proven to be deadly. People who live/directly contact these members of society should be subject to biweekly covid19 tests, and daily temperature tests; as well as an emphasis on mask, glove, and sanitization use. There should be government built quarantine hotels, where people who have contracted the virus are able to isolate themselves and avoid spreading the disease to family/house mates. these quarantine hotels should be staffed with medical staff and provided with emergency ventilators. I'd also like to apologize for letting things get heated. That was on me.

This would be perfect, and if the world governments would’ve better prepared for this (this isn’t an attack on specifically trump, I’m talking Boris, Trudeau, etc.) something similar (maybe not as perfect) could have been achieved. The world failed us, and now, social distancing is the only thing we can do that has any possibility of being affective (and we still don’t know just how affective it is yet). I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Verity 6
He's so stupid. He's old himself so he's at a greater risk of dying if he gets infected and you can bet that he'd be begging to live if he was in that state.

Mister G 10,512
Bill O’Reilly must be bored. When he catches this f***ing virus and has to be hooked up to a ventilator, he’ll probably blame the “far left” for getting him sick. He should have kept quiet; no one misses him and no one wants to hear from him.

Were they on their last legs anyway? Jesus. A 70 year old woman/man with obesity and diabetes is not just a statistic, it's a human being who's dear to their grandkids, their kids, their husband/wife, their dogs/pets, their neighbors, their colleagues, their friends. This man is so cruel & far up his ass u can just see it in his face how much of an asshole and cold man he is. I pray the virus doesn't come to bite him in the ass, and kill him, Im sure he's obese and eats Mcdo like his favorite man Trump, then he wanna talk about others... **** u O'Reilly I feel sorry for u

You were also the person who said if there's a recession it would be great business wise. You seem to completely be overwhelmed and brainwashed by the illusions of this world. Money over humans, believing in the survival of the fittest type of scheme. You're no better than an obese person, an old person, or even an ant who's important to the eco-system. RahrahWitch 6,985
Is media manipulation really that bad in the states? I'm constantly seeing people majority from the US talking like this about the virus while ignoring the facts and science. How hard is it to research facts and make a decision for yourself?
