March34th 1,973
All of Gaga's albums have deep significance to me but I'd have to say The Fame is the one that hits the deepest. All the songs throw me back to when I was a pre-teen hearing Gaga on the radio and immediately becoming a stan then songs like Again Again, Summerboy, and I Like It Rough were songs I started really connecting to in the past few years so they throw me back to those times
Chromatica Island 8,517
ARTPOP, because I get where she is coming from and nobody really understands the album, it reminds me of my life, being misunderstood and nobody getting me. I sort of project myself into the album. The album feels like freedom from my pain from those times in my life. If I was an album I would be ARTPOP. I also like to meditate to the song ARTPOP, it gives me peace. Any/All Pronouns, Genderfluid🏳⚧

Morphine Prince 106,871
Born This Way. For me, that was Gaga's creative peak album-wise. I was 16. My political and social views were shifting dramatically and this album gave me an escape to experience controversy, darkness, new sounds I had not heard in music from a Pop star before. It came at a perfect age where you are almost an adult but still have teen angst. That album was an EVENT. I am so lucky to have experienced it to its fullest. I was obsessed, fixated with every song, every video, every performance. It's still my favorite album of all time. The Edge Of Glory specifically is a song that will always stick with me. My cousin passed away July 2011 and this song which Gaga wrote while her grandfather was dying resonated with me. I cried listening to this song. I can't listen to it the same way again. My cousin was one of my best friends and losing him when I was 16 felt almost unreal. The worst part is we sort of drifted apart that year so part of me will always regret that in his last year of life. Once we had planned what we'd do in college and after. I always felt there was a missing piece after that. He was the first person close to me I had ever lost. I had not even lost a grandparent at that age. Every July I listen to TEOG. The song isn't exactly about losing a loved one, but something about the lyrics gets to me and makes me think of this tragic incident. Typing this made me emotional. Losing a loved one gets easier over time but you never forget. I can only hope people feel the same about me once I pass.
AyaKara 2,282
BTW. Her deepest lyrics, consistently memorable melodies, diverse production/instrumentation throughout the album while still remaining sonically consistent, and just an overall experience from start to finish. Her best body of work. For reference I was a TF era fan. Her growth from TF --> TFM --> BTW was just beyond this world. ARTPOP and Joanne are also good, but BTW is just special. SlaeUrAnus 16,041
Born This Way. Despite TFM being my favourite album, it was released when I was in year 10 (dunno what grade that would be in America). Anyway, I got heavily bullied and things at home were not great. BTW was released when I was on the verge of finishing school and was vital in me finding myself as a gay 15 year old. Life got so much better and the album and the era was present during those times so I look back on it with fondness and immense nostalgia before life got poor again. But still, Hair and Marry The Night still get me through my darkest times. I will give anything to go back. In my messy era.
Cookie Tookie 10,546
Born This Way. It was not just an album. It was a cultural movement. It had more impact on my life and so many other people’s lives more than anything else in my life. From the visuals, to the legendary songs that weren’t afraid to exceed 4 minutes and experiment with a dark 80s sound, to its message, it was amazing. PopFanatic 48
I'd say The Fame Monster. It was the first album of Gaga's I really listened to. I got into her in late 2009 because I was trying to impress a boy, lol. So I didn't really care much about The Fame-era. In fact, I thought Poker Face was dumb and avoided her after that :P But I ended up seeing her live since I was in the audience of a TV show, and I really vibed with her "aura" like I felt like she was cool. I looked up some of her stuff and fell in love. Then I got with my first real boyfriend (different guy than the one above) and got TFM deluxe as a christmas present, and we both would listen to the album on repeat during drives. So whenever I listen to TFM, I think of the beginning of our relationship. We're still going strong 10 years later and even to this day we'll sing Gaga in the car together. Poppy Chan 56
Joanne, despite being an album about her family helped me too much to overcome the death of my grandfather and other terrible things that happened to me and showed me that Gaga is human and is not afraid to show her vulnerable side, that meant too much for me so I stop being afraid about being myself and showing my feelings, it is currently my favorite album of hers You shouldn't be anything like me
FameHookah 4,655
2 hours ago, Chromaticunt said: ARTPOP. The music healed my soul during the hardest time of my life. While I was watching Gaga battle with depression and being victimised by her management and the press, I was being bullied and felt myself slowly sinking into a depression that almost took my life. I felt so connected to her during that point in time. I would blare every song in ARTPOP in my car and sing along, and it was escapism for me because for a while it was the only thing that made me feel anything but despair. Onto a happier note, it also has bop after bop after bop, what's not to like This, its funny but i went thru the "same" things at the same time as her (on a much smaller scale obvs) so each album touched me on a personal level at the time. But yeah ARTPOP and the fame are my picks WTF is MDNA
Dunk96 2,526
In some fashion, every Gaga album has meant something to me in one way or another. However I'm probably in the minority who feels that Joanne was an incredibly impactful album for me. The title track helped me and my mom cope with the loss of her sister (who recently passed in December). The Joanne album means so much to me and I'm so thankful that Gaga put that album out when she did, despite the consensus thinking it's a basic album for Gaga.
