They're literally her worst musically speaking. The only reason stans go nuts for them is because they were the most profitable albums and had an almost bloated amount of promo.

I’m sorry but I stopped reading @ "her worst musically speaking"

crack was smoked :billie:

HOLD UP.

So you mean to tell me, that out of all of Gaga's albums- you think Joanne is the worst? But out of 1989, Blackout, Butterfly, Erotica, Beyonce, & every other main pop girls 5th album, Joanne is THE BEST????

I don't use terms like "worst" when it comes to Gaga.   "Which Gaga album is not as great as her other albums?", would imply all her albums are great, which is how I view her work.

I live outside the space time continuum.

ARTPOP. And it's still a fantastic album, all media criticisms aside.

It just fell under the weight of having such a heavy and complex intended concept that wasn't translated well enough through the songs. Individually, it is filled with such incredible highlights (the MJH-to-Dope transition is still one of my favorite of her decisions, artistically).

3 points in and ready for more

Without a doubt, for me, it has to be Joanne.

I feel like LG5 was supposed to be a totally different album. Joanne is just...meh.

Perfect Illusion was very deceptive as a single because it did NOT reflect the rest of the album well at all. I feel like that was the intention - draw people in with a catchy lead single so they buy the album.

Joanne is probably only one of two Lady Gaga albums I can't listen to from beginning to end without skipping stuff.

So yeah, I'll have to say Joanne. Sometimes you don't have to reinvent the wheel Gaga.

Hair and The Queen remain some of Gaga’s worst songs even though they’re on her best album. But that’s for another post.

Girl....we might have to fight, lol.

Nah, I respect your opinion. I just don't get it?

Hair is just a perfect gay anthem for growing up and feeling disconnected from your family? It also appeals to that weird kid who feels like they're alone and wants to be different no matter how people make fun of them. Maybe that's why I vibed with it?

The Queen - it gets better with every listen, IMO. It's such a bop. It's a song you can throw on and just dance and sing loudly in the room when you're by yourself. It's probably the campiest song on the album, sure, but I don't think that makes it bad. This song meant a lot to me because it was a song that I listened to on repeat when I was struggling with my anxiety / depression.

So yeah.

Joanne. To me it is a pretty boring album and some of the songs sound unfinished. I only listened to it for like 3 or 4 times and that was years ago.

I would have to say ARTPOP for sure. When it came out, I tried so, so, so hard to force myself to like it. I probably like 2 songs on the album and that’s all.

All of these songs (except from The Queen) are terrible so you should laugh :billie:

You mean the three greatest pop songs of the 21st century?

So yeah.

The Queen is that bop. It’s outdro is one of my favorite moments musically and vocally of Born This Way.

Hair was the aesthetic of 80s Springsteen tupe songs. If Hair wasn’t so long, it would be one of my favorite songs fr the album.
