She has no worst album, allthough I rarely listen to Joanne, but I won't vote it as her worst cause it isn't.

Honestly, I chose Joanne because it didn't feel cohesive that much, but there's definitely not a Gaga album I don't like. I like Joanne, but I don't consider it my favorite album. I have to be in a certain kind of mood to listen to it

Mythos

ARTPOP, but just because it sounded overproduced, after that concert where she played the half of the album.

I had such trouble listening to ARTPOP for the longest time because it just felt messy, and the whole era was a total shambles, so I left it alone a while and when I came back to it I finally appreciated it. There are a few songs I skip without fail but I feel guilty even still for how much I ignored it for so long!

Joanne is the album I listen to least, for sure. There are individual tracks I LOVE but I can’t remember the last time I even thought about putting it on to listen the whole way through. I don’t think that makes it her “worst” album, I know it means a lot to plenty of people, it’s just not the one I connect with the most.

I voted Joanne & I can't even justify my own opinion because I love the album so much. As a whole album though, it's the only one with songs on it that I skip / don't know the lyrics too.

I considered voting ARTPOP, but tbh.. I know every song on that album and still listen to them (obviously excluding Jewels & Drugs).

1. Born This Way
2. Joanne
3. The Fame Monster
4. ARTPOP
5. A Star Is Born (Soundtrack)
6. The Fame
7. Cheek To Cheek

I wouldn't say she has any bad albums. I suppose it's what you looking for... read the spoiler if you care...

Spoiler

Cheek to Cheek is probably her worst album for me (and I'm sure a lot of others) as it's a duets jazz collaboration album. Still I can still appreciate its efforts and 'Lush Life' showcases some of the best vocals of her career. It's probably the Gaga album I listen to the least but it gave her so much happiness which I recognise and to this day, am grateful for. It also showcases her versatility as an artist, it separates her from other pop girls so I appreciate how it's only added to Gaga's career. I think C2C was when older people looked and went "oh she's not just a one trick-pony" and gave her a chance, what with knowing Tony.

Joanne is often viewed as one of her more undesirable albums in the fanbase, which is a shame as it's a beautiful body of work and even more complex once paired with the Netflix documentary. Despite, appearing a simplistic country influenced pop album at first, it's much more. It's about life's struggles and how it's a dog fight for a lot of us. It's about facing the pains and struggles of life head on and how we pick ourselves back up through the pain. Although fans disregard it for a lack of "hits" so to speak, which is why it normally ends up on the bottom of people's lists. Saying that, I think it was imperative in Gaga's career especially when ASIB is considered.

The Fame has aged slightly now and whilst most of the album is still great, I can't listen to tracks like 'Money Honey', 'Starstruck' and even 'Boys Boys Boys' in the same way I did in 2008/2009. They feel outdated, but they're also significant of the times so I like that they have this slightly outdated / slightly nostalgic, feel to them. I probably visit The Fame occasionally, as I've overplayed it tirelessly through the years.

The Fame Monster and Born This Way are both remarkable pieces of work and have lasted the test of time, which leaves ARTPOP. ARTPOP is by no means by bad, it's just chaotic. If you're down for the ride, it's brilliant. It's an adrenaline rush like none of her other albums and I'm praying Chromatica emulates the same level of energy. ARTPOP just threw me off a little at the beginning.

You're initially thrown into a whirlwind of camp electronic songs about sex, freedom and liberation - with whimsical references and double entendres galore. It's classic Gaga, but completely fascinating and brand new simultaneously. Moments later you're on new territory, transported into a trap-rap song with a bunch of features you'd never expect on a Lady Gaga album yet nonetheless you're down for the ride. Jewels N Drugs is crucified by the fanbase, but the production is playful and interesting. What follows is undoubtedly the album's best track yet sadly it features her worst collaborater, leaving you torn. The album track is a calming transition and a dreamy atmosphere before more tracks infused with further exploration and experimentation of EDM: 'Swine', 'Donatella', and even funk/disco: 'Fashion!' are thrown your way. Moments later you're drawn to a powerful piano-driven ballad before climaxing at the kooky lead single.

I think ARTPOP is a great album, but it lacks consistency, which for me makes it her most confusing record to date. It sometimes feels like 3 albums at once, which is also its selling point, oddly enough. I wouldn't take away any of the tracks from the album, apart from J&D and Donatella and replace R.Kelly with Christina Aguilera's version. This point paired with the mis-management of the era, the critical distain towards Gaga at the time and her clear mental, physical and emotional pain makes the album even more perplexing and adds even further layers of confusion for fans, which most likely will never be explained. I think if the era was handled more smoothly by the label and Troy didn't leave halfway through (which in hindsight was a blessing), the general view of ARTPOP wouldn't be so harsh.

Her worst album is ARTPOP. I find it utterly disgusting how JOANNE, her 3rd best album, is losing. It really says something about the type of people on this site and that's all I'm going to say because I don't want a warning point. :awkney:

Joanne, for sure. It's clear that the purpose of the album was to clean up and soften her image after ARTPOP's backlash. All it did was further the disconnect, tho. Thankfully, ASIB did the cleaning up.

The Fame. I love it but the album tracks sound so similar.

TFM, BTW, ARTPOP, and Joanne all have such diversity to them compared to TF.
