Why are there 5 Chromatica covers?

There's one official

the one Gaga uploaded and is the same on Apple Music in 3600×3600 with the shadow of her eyelash 

the others are just edited cuz the official has a lot of noise/grain and the contrast is low

Thats tea, but I wish the Standard and Deluxe versions had different cover art

even if it was something like Born This Way where it was zoomed in on her face. I would live for that. but the artwork we got is absolutely stunning

In regard to colour/exposure/contrast differences, often these are just format issues or the way the file is shared. I don’t think it’s the case with some of these though. 
 

do you remember when the artwork for Born this Way was released and then a new version came out with the eye photoshopped? I think it’s a case of that. Sometimes the art director will send a final version out to be ready for press but the client (Gaga) will request an edit which becomes the final version on the product. But obviously with the Internet, things get jumped on and shared quickly.

Would compression change shadows on her face tho?  the files I’ve been comparing are 3000x3000px for the D images and 3600x3600 for the O images 

Different formats and compression can change colours, a picture doesn't look the same in every screen and in every format. CMYK (used for printing) won't show the same colours as RGB, and Adobe RGB ICC profile won't show the same colours and shadows as Apple RGB or CMYK for example. JPG files are compressed.

I would LOVE if the deluxe had the draft symbol, like D2, just to add a little variation, but honestly the cover is a slay so I’m happy with what we got

Wait I remember this, I didn’t notice at the time but remember seeing it back in the ARTPOP era maybe?  I can’t seem to find it now though 

I did wonder whether one of the other O covers would end up being on the actual product but I guess we’ll have to wait until.... who knows

I just made a side-by-side comparison but I don’t know how to include an image here. Im new to the site. 
if you just google ‘born this way deluxe’ and compare some of the images you’ll see it. Gaga has a naturally unsymmetrical face (as most of us do) and they mirrored her larger eye in the ‘fixed’ version.
