Marq 9
Sorry if this is the wrong section, but does anyone have any websites/tips for learning how to edit/make remixes of songs? I'd really appreciate it, thanks.
aneesheewah 0
IMO its not something you can just read about and learn that way. It comes from a lot of personal experimentation and development with the software. The artistic relationship one can develop with their computer can grow at any rate depending on the individual's dedication, thereby enabling an endless world of love and art to be explored and materialized. But seriously, it depends on what you want to use. I use Adobe Audition and FL Studio. You can google tutorials for any of the software that's available because there are more options than what I use. If you're interested in free software I know the free variant of Adobe Audition is Audacity. I use FL Studio to make my own music from scratch because it's a beat sequencer and I've been using it since I was 11. And let me tell you, it is not as easy as some of these uber talented monsters make it seem to **** out these amaze remixes and edits of GaGa's music. It's very difficult. Best of luck! Good work always gives positive results.

Haus 152
It's just like learning Photoshop. It's not something you can just become good at, it takes a LOT of time and practice. I've used Photoshop for 2 years and I'm still a major at it.
Sir Taurean 17
This is something that comes with practice and patience. You can be the best, with both of those skills. It'll take you far and beyond what you thought you could do. Just remember that. Be yourself, and do not expect a #1 with your first track. Otherwise you are setting yourself up for failure. If you need any help with anything, feel free to message me. I love offering advice to novice remixers. :)

Lum 315
It's taken me 6+ years for me to get as good as I am now, and I still have a ton of learning to do!
Vytals 9
Well there is no REAL tutorial on how to make remixes, since it has to be specific to the song. But for remixes you just have to make a different instrumental for the vocals, So for that first you have to pick a software to use. Do a google search for different DAW softwares and choose the one that best suits you. Then you can download demos if they have any and then buy it if you like it. Then you have to learn some basic music theory and then learn about music itself, how it can be structured and about melodies and everything. Its not as easy as it seems. It takes years and years to get good. And you also have to have drive and passion to do it and by nature, be able to create original melodies and compositions. Here are some great tutorials that I thought were easy to follow. http://warbeats.com/Tutorials https://www.youtube.com/@Vytals
