I still don't fully agree with that. Some stuff Bernie proposes like the Corporate tax rates, top income tax rates for example are higher than even Scandinavian countries. Then there's the wealth tax

I get that he's not that inspiring in many ways. 

 

I'm not as far left as most of GGD and even I think he should have more lofty goals in stuff than just raising income gains taxes (which to be fair is kinda the main source of inequality of all anyway but on its own it may be insufficient)

 

But please don't compare him to Trump

 

I'm speaking from a policy perspective but if we go on personality. I know he has some sexual misconduct allegations and definitely don't wanna downplay how problematic that is but even in that department I have a hard time believing Trump isnt worse there too

 

I thought Warren was the best candidate but that didn't happen. Bernie supporters need to accept it too

Trump was accused of raping a 13 year old, who only dropped the lawsuit after getting death threats from his supporters. Among many many more allegations. And the fact that he literally brags about assaulting women

The fact we are at such a LOW point in this country that both candidates having at least ONE sexual assault accusation is normal and compared by their supporters is absolutely TRAGIC.

His plans already exist in poorer countries. His plans are increasingly mainstream and most voters now support M4A. Moderate republicans barely exist, didnt push Hillary to win last time, and wont vote for a counterfeit republican when the real one (Trump) exists. What’s not clicking with you?
