Agreed but I can imagine there's probably more technically useful stuff for entertainment industry than studying a specific celebrity one would think

Ppl complain about student debt but then ppl will also spend money on courses that are gonna do nothing for ur life :rip:

 

This definitely has nothing to do with student debt or any of that. A sociology class will count as a course towards a sociology degree. It could also count as a course towards marketing, entertainment, etc. This is a useful course for people pursuing a certain degree. 

Would you say that a Calc II course is the reason students are complaining about student debt, even if it counts towards a Mathematics degree?
