because of the success of Shallow, if she lands the role you know they'll probably ask her to write the main theme for the movie. Maybe she'll have to speak/sing in Italian too so she'd have to brush up i think.

 This being in the trades can be a way to drum up excitement and create leverage for the producers. MGM seems super excited. Gucci will be made but who is attached can change at any time.  BC had his eyes set on Beyonce for ASIB but negotiations/scheduling? fell out. Negotiations means negotiations. An entire film can be cast, shot, ready to release and still be shelved for some reason.
