Chromatica: "The idea of these groups (tribes from stupid love video) continues throughout the album cycle," he says, citing Gaga's "punk-rock core." He's also digging into the archives to unearth some familiar pieces and make them anew: "I want to bring back the sex and the edginess of her with materials like latex and leather and spikes and studs and mix them with couture." ... "I'm very proud of it because while it's fun and celebratory, if you listen to those lyrics, you really will know my heart. It's like the music is giving you permission to go on. Even if you've had the worst day ever, it's OK to dance."

Gaga keeps posting a photo each hour on IG. It feels like it’s building up to something? Am I crazy?

This fuchsia dress and the shaded fuchsia hair are great. I love how the hair color is light around her face and is darker further back. I do however want to mess it up and then re-comb, just because. 

I don't need the black collar, but it certainly makes a statement.  Why could she not walk in this outfit?  There is a gif of her being carried.

I would have preferred this outfit to be shot in studio with decent lighting. The bare branches in the foreground are distracting and obscure the fashion unnecessarily. Even a plain white studio with decent lighting would have been better than this, imo of course.

The black tux gown in front of the dead looking trees very much cast a look like funeral wear. The mask actually makes me think this look may have been inspired by covid-19. But I don't know when the shoot was done.

The outfit with the skeleton looks Mardi gras inspired.

This frame/look is so innocent, so kindness punk. I don't even mind the tree branch casting shadows in foreground ... much. Though I would love to see the same image without the effin  tree branch. I suppose the branch is more artistic, maybe. It is very well lit and exposed and framed.

I'm in love with this photoshoot. My favorite shots are the ones with the white dress and gold headpiece. Those translated well with the nature background, however the rest of the outfits (as fabulous as they are) don't look as great in a random forest setting.

Or maybe it's just the photography itself? Either way, I'm here for the promo and I missed the photoshoots and interviews so much. Chromatica may be delayed, but it's nice to be living through another Gaga era. Feels like old times.

Some of the styling for this shoot, like the Stupid Love video, is reading cheap to me. But when she nails it, boy does she nail it. Absolutely magical.
