I see where you are coming from, but I beg to differ. I’ve been living in the truth while remaining positive. You can deal with the truth of what the world is going through at the moment and still not give in to the negativity and see a positive outlook. Just because something negative is happening doesn’t mean you have to be negative about it. I’ve been living in the truth and can still see the positives, and haven’t had rose colored glasses on. I mean, we know this will come to an end at some point, that’s something we can look forward to. Or what is around you that you are positive for? For me I am in quarantine with my grandparents and that’s something I’m thankful for that still makes me feel positive during these times. Being positive isn’t as black and white as people see it. Hope you have a good day :staymad:

This reminds me of a Tumblr post about emotions vs rational thinking and I want to post it, but I can't find it :cryga:

Rejoice though, for you’ve saved the life of a 119 year old with thirteen pre-existing conditions for one more week

Or a thirty five year old ER nurse

Or a forty year old doctor

Or a forty-five year old fireman

Or a fifty year old teacher and mother of four

None of them had pre-existing conditions. They deserved to live longer than one more week.

I know. I was pointing out who’s most statistically likely to die

Cameltoe Chariot

....anyway :madge:

Back on topic: is the show postponed or what? This is marked as news, but seems more like a rumour and after going through the thread I haven't found a concrete answer.

In New York, close to forty per cent of the people dying are under the age of 70.

Three weeks of fever/pneumonia and a possibility of long term lung issues isn’t a walk in the park either, even for younger people.

The radio station that announced this just said it was a mistake and the show has not been postponed.

So, what's the truth?

Doesn’t that mean 60%+ that died are over 70, making me right?
