Judas and TEOG which resulted in Judas severely under-performing + TEOG MV video being released too late after an already scrapped. Venus not getting a MV and then DWUW's video being pushed back so much until it got cancelled Million Reasons getting a "video" which was clearly rushed since it wasn't planned to be a single From her message I can assume she doesn't plan to release the album until the lockdown is over, so I hope once this is over she releases proper singles to keep the momentum, and not waste the hype on promo singles that will for sure mess up the era, knowing her team Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not everyone in the GP follows album roll outs. They hear a song on the radio or see it performed at an award show and they stream or download it. They don’t follow her like we do lol so the behind the scenes of an album is irrelevant to most people. She’s not the only artist who releases promo singles. And Judas was criticized by the GP. And promo singles are at the bottom of the list when talking about the issues with the rollout/entire era of ARTPOP, we know the behind the scenes there. And Million Reasons was literally everywhere and the GP ate it up. The video coming later did nothing to hinder its success. Yes I hope she has clear single choices and doesn’t shift a promo single into a main single but the album needs a promo single in the interim. It’s not unlikely she releases a song early May to keep hype going for the album, which is the entire point of a buzz single to begin with. But to each their own.
