They are the ones that made the Stupid Love artwork and all Chromatica graphics

What’s in a reverse-warholian expedition?

So this "day for night lab" shot the cover? His work looks nothing like the album cover so I wonder what made her go with him/her? Lol

Do u think Nicola just knows him personally/through somebody else and casually asked Gaga if she wanted a shoot with him? Then the photos turned out crazy and Gaga was convinced she wanted to do the cover shoot with him because of the energy on the set etc and that she liked him rather than choosing him based on his "household name"?

I mean... the past 4 years have kinda been like this for her lol so I wouldn't be surprised...

I just don't see the link between the cover and his own work? I love the cover ofc (it's  her best), but as an artist myself I would always want to push my own signature through too to stay true to my art

The photographer is not responsible for the art direction though. The concept/aesthetic comes from the art direction and everything else is built off of that.

I just love how she is going for a camp × posthuman (cyborg-ish) route this time. It has the serious craftiness of a solid visual art, but is unserious and campy in its performative approach. :messga:

(Badically this is what I always loved about Gaga. ARTPOP had, I believe, on of her best best photoshoot sessions, but Chromatica is much more epic :nooo:)

Omg yaasssss. And I hope she releases more random photos just like she did during ARTPOP. That motherboard chair with nakedGa, that ARTPOP short film, the Dope promo single cover...things like that, you know. :flutter:

I know right? I love the buzz this cover has generated. But I mean it’s understandable, this has gotta be one of the best album covers ever :tony:
