I have listened to the sl leak, the babylon leak and have seen the cover leak. Though if the album leaks, which it will, I won't listen to it and wait till the official release to jam

i'm pretty sure i saw some ANTi stuff leak beforehand. The only reason why Beyonce stuff doesn't leak is because she did two surprise releases and she keeps every audio file offline

I'm going to listen to the leak. If it does leak, it wasn't my job to keep the album from leaking. I also don't understand why people exaggerate on how hard it is being a popstar and making music, most of us have a 8 hour daily job and don't complain about it, and we have to go everyday. It's our job, just like it's her job making music and going on tour. It's not like she's doing us any favor. Still giving her my coins tho

Okay, so, let me get it straight.

Some of you:

a) Gatekeep being a “true” fan.

b) Tell people what to do, and then insist on “do what you want.... but it’s a loss on your side anyways” passive-aggressive behaviour

c) Deflect any criticism from fans towards Gaga as if she were some kind of deity that is constantly harassed by her own followers. (Note that I don’t deny there being some toxic weirdos)

I have to laugh   

as for me, she’s had MANY opportunities to release #lg6. She could’ve released it past spring especially with the ASIB/Gala hype et cetera et cetera. It seems to me the karma is a bitch and she finally decided to act upon Gaga’s receipts.  Unlike Dula Peep, whom I genuinely felt sorry for, the Fad won’t get any sort of pity from me when/if her album leaks. Not only does she keep her fans in the dark most of the time, she constantly kept on teasing the album for 2+ years along with Bloodpop essentially blueballing her fans. Yikes. Though, once Chromatica’s out I won’t care either about her cancelling it or “respecting her artistic view because you GOTTA experience the era the way she intended it to be blah blah blah” as it’ll be stored safely on my device. 
And imo she’s incredibly hypocritical. “Music not the bling” and “This album is supposed to help people heal and carry on through bad times” when she clearly delayed it because of the potentially lost coin due to Miss Corona’s impact. I bet you if Chromatica leaks next week she’ll pull a “nvm I decided to ReLeaSE LG6 eARly tO HElP PEoPLe in quaranTiNE” bs outta her ass. After Dua’s heroic early FN release Fadga literally can’t releas- I mean relate.

This is why I didn’t want her to postpone. She has a big enough fanbase to buy the music. Who even cares about the sales! My major concern was she needed to put it out because it’s clearly going to be leaked at some point. And that ruins it for me for some reason. I hated when ARTPOP and Joanne Leaked

Idol worship is very real and people who do that tend to take things personally for who they worship on their behalf, regardless.

Everyone is here for a reason and people seem to keep forgetting that. We are all fans of Gaga enough to join a forum about it and talk about the same thing endlessly and over analyze things to such extremes that the ideas we come up with probably never even crossed Gaga's mind when she made something to begin with. 

People who think she doesn't care about sales are foolish. Of course she cares about sales. Why shouldn't she?

I just dislike people gatekeeping stuff & being patronising in general.
As for the sales, sure she’s gotta be interested as it’s her income. It’s just that this feigned, holier-than-thou (or at least it seems to me to be so) attitude with the whole “people CAN’T enjoy some classic pop bops fans or not because some other people are dying right now (yes I’m cynical, selfish or whatever else you might call me )” as well as the “I’m helping fight corona, yet I delayed a “healing” album” shtick makes me feel as if Gaga’s preaches are hollow. Like, can’t you be genuine and explain everything as is to the fans, who you know WILL understand & support you no matter what?

Just want to say you don't know how what opportunities she had to release Chromatica. If she was in a position to release it sooner and wanted to, she would have. She obviously wasn't sitting on a finished product for no reason. If you used your head for a second you'd see that.

let’s agree to disagree. Us arguing won’t change our polarised opinions. However, I’d rather you don’t try and go appealing for emotions. Yes, I do have a head and no, I neither want nor need a stranger evaluating whether I “use” my head or not.

I listened to SL and Babylon and I saw the album cover, but I swore to myself if the albums leaks I won’t listen to it. With Joanne I did good. I think I listened to the leaks of the songs we already heard and a couple seconds of the others. This time I won’t listen at all. I can wait, we’ll be fine. I want to experience it the day it comes out with whatever else she has to slay us with. I want the full experience
