Not true, but if it stays in the top 10 one weeks and the tumbles 25 spots... yeah

12 years into their careers Rihanna and Beyonce were doing just fine. Careers aren't just singles. You have albums and tours too (which is Gaga's destiny from now on).

And Gaga's one of the best album sellers and touring force on the list even bigger than Rihanna in those compartments

I think it's an established mindset in stan culture to look at anything by a popular artist not reaching #1 is considered a flop.

Ikr I mean I'd be happier if SL reentered the top 10 and became a sleeper hit but we already have a top 5 hit stable in the top 30 not everything have to be Shallow massive those songs happens once or twice in an A lister career

The song itself sounds too clunky an dud and it has no chorus. Gaga did 0 promo for it too so what did you expect? IT's a good filler track but definitely not single worthy

Not people calling these a flop  The song is doing decent, it’s not a worldwide hit but it’s doing fine, better than expected. It had a big peak, and is now lingering in the Top 30. Many were expecting her to be out of the Hot 100 by this week. And it is truly a radio hit. Radio is literally what’s keeping the song alive. So it has nothing to do with quality, since when has quality been the only factor for a song’ s success? Because lots of awful songs have become hits. The song is doing fine given the circumstances. And we know she had big promo planned but that was all ruined. 
 

And why are so many fans expecting more Shallow sized hits? Gaga is 12 years into her career, she will most likely never achieve the same success she had in 2008-2012 and ASIB was an unexpected event. It’s way harder for her to get hits, so don’t expect more worldwide smashes like that one in quite some time. Even if she had released a way better song than SL it would have performed similarly.

I kind of agree but also don’t. I feel like the Non fans (not gonna say GP cuz I don’t wanna put them all in one category) may not always be completely into her but their always there to see what’s hes gonna do next and always interested. And I find that they’re usually always accepting of whatever image she puts out there. I know non Gaga fans who love stupid love so I don’t really like grouping the GP all together

You are right too. We should not count so many people in just one category.
