15 years ago today, Mariah Carey released her comeback single, “We Belong Together.” The single reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent 14 weeks on the top spot!

Mariah won two Grammy Awards for the track (Best R&B Song & Best Female R&B Vocal Performance) and was nominated for Song and Record of the Year!

Billboard named it the Song of the 2000s decade, while being Mariah's 2nd song to be considered the "Song on the Decade" after her 16 week number one single, "One Sweet Day" held that title in the 1990s!
