ADVENTURE

I was just telling my cousin to check this video out yesterday! The interview is great too! Vocally though wouldn’t a Sound of Music be her best? She always gives it her all though

Floppy

This isn't her best vocal imo but the way she made telephone a ****ing ballad in honor of McQueen. I cried while watching then she stomped me out with that DITD performance with Emma. Gaga can literally serve a whole show alone on stage with no extra effects.

thank you for reminding me of this beautiful performance:kara:

chills.

TEOG may be her best song EVER :bradley:

TEOG IS her best song ever. It’s still my alarm clock on my iPhone so it wakes me up each and every day.
God I wish we could’ve gotten the originally fleshed out video for it.

And Paula Abdul ain’t got [BLEEP] on me!

It’s totally unfathomable that Interscope released EOG as a promo single to me; like, which songs on BTW did they see as being better singles especially after the controversy and underperformance of Judas? They didn’t want Scheisse or Marry the Night, so seriously- what was their actual train of thought when they released Hair and EOG?

Such a trainwreck. That Judas debuted #10 despite 3 days of tracking and EOG #3 as a digital sales-only promo isn’t talked about enough. Despite so many mistakes, that era served so much talent and the GP was so into Gaga that they still made it out with 4 top 10s, but EOG and MTN were done dirty.

Both were lyrical, personal masterpieces that sonically encompassed what BTW was all about. Both are much more personal than Joanne’s offerings, and both prove that a pop song can be just as deep as a pure ballad. Those tracks hit harder than Million Reasons ever could (not a slam on MR; just a note that she’s always shown that she can fit complex emotions into mid or even uptempo songs).

EOG as a fully promoted 3rd single released the week prior to the album drop with an iconic MV ready to go would’ve changed the era and her career trajectory. If you add radio and additional exposure from having it be a full single to its digital sales, it would’ve easily hit #1.

...and why it wasn’t submitted for SOTY/BPSP is an enigma.

I think this is the best one ever, at least of The edge of glory

the whole performance is fire and she looks surprisingly relaxed doing all these difficult beltings.

how she sings the climax at 07:38 has to be the most flawless thing i've heard from her

I think its safe to say her voice today obviously does not sound like it did a year ago... I wonder what changed?

I’ve disliked how she’s sounded ever since the Joanne era, and it’s gotten worse within the past year.

I thought JWT was her best tour (vocally of course). She's never sounded so crystal clear and good before :tony:

Her vocals are flawless no matter what so it's hard to pick one. :ohwell:
