shame

That’s something! :huntyga: halfway to being vevo certified (if that’s still a thing)

Gaga better release a kpop video for her BLACKPINK collab. Imagine 50m views in 24 hours just like that :bradley:

It really is growing slowly :bradley: But let's be honest, it's not a MV that deserves acclaim or tremendeous success, even tho I looove it, it's nowhere close to be one of Gaga's best MVs. I was disappointed when the video ended because I didn't like the lightning, outfits and I thought it felt pretty cheap to be a Gaga video, the video didn't live up to my expectations after the teasers because I thought we would dive deeper into it, with a more complex storyline or whatever.

The thing with Gaga is, she's ****ing talented and creative, but she is NOT consistent and she's not surrounded by the best team in term of creative execution of her ideas. Lately, Gaga has this problem where her photoshoots, commercials or teasers feel more richer, expensive and overall visually pleasing than her MVs, for example, that Paper shoot is literally EVERYTHING, it looks elegant, futuristic yet has that retro feel to it, it looks like a beautiful painting, but then we got the Stupid Love music video which is cute, but that's it. Even Bad Bunny and Kpop group are serving way more than Gaga and I hope she steps her game up. Hopefully the Rain On Me video is filmed and its stunning.

What I loved about Stupid Love is Gaga isn’t using that theatrical voice she started using with Bad Romance. If that makes sense? I love the simplicity of the song and the video, such a fun song and video. Although, I would have liked an extended version with more back story! Hopefully we get more information about the tribes!

She definitely started a theatrical, deeper style voice with The Fame Monster, for sure, but I think she shifted once again (slowly, it was definitely a soft transition) to a bit of a more nasally tone for Born This Way, which continued into ARTPOP.

Her vocal style definitely took a more Old Hollywood style for Cheek 2 Cheek which continued into Joanne, and remained up until Stupid Love.

My personal issue with the "Old Hollywood" style she has used for so long, is it often sounds like she's trying to sing "louder" and is at the very limit of her vocal range for that style. I often feel like it's persisted for so long because she's trying to still "prove" to the world how good of a vocalist she is, but it got to the point where I was like "I get it, you can sing".

She's definitely taken a slight step in the direction of a somewhat similar style to what she used to, but there are still traces of the more recent style in elements of Stupid Love. Like the "Look at me nowwwwwwww" section. It can often sound a little too "Disney Pixar Frozen Musical Fairy" like.

Curious to see what possible new or prior styles she may incorporate into the rest of Chromatica.

You definitely have put a lot of thought into this, and I really appreciate your input!
