The same reason Taylor, Justin’s, Selena’s, Katy’s, and EVERYONE ELSE’S lead single’s saw 50%-80% declines in pure sales when comparing their 2016/17 releases to 2019/20. The decline of digital music. Why did SL debut with 19.7 million streams, a 130% increase from PI’s streaming debut? Hmmmmmm maybe just maybe it’s because streaming is bigger.
