Thomas P 18,479
Lorde wasn’t nominated for BNA, but she too successfully released a masterpiece as a sophomore album. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Anderson123 38,918
I never understood what made people think that was a curse lol. Most artists who win that award have been very successful. I think only the 2010's would make it look like it's a curse because most of them were indie artists. Just looking at the 2000's winners I see Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Evanescence, Maroon 5, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Amy Winehouse (RIP) and Adele and their music is still very present today. But yeah congrats to Dua, she really outdid herself with Future Nostalgia.
Gypsy 3,826
So many have Adele, Amy Winehouse, Sam Smith, Maroon 5 and Billie will follow it's not really a cure imo.
Miel 15,009
Good for her. This album phase so far has been very interesting to me! 59 minutes ago, Thomas P said: Lorde wasn’t nominated for BNA, but she too successfully released a masterpiece as a sophomore album. Honestly one of the best albums I have ever heard, as a whole artistic work. I enjoyed her first album but didn't give it too much thought. Green Light was so weird for me on its first release? But listening to the album as a whole? Stunning. 3 points in and ready for more
