Not y'all acting like March 20th and April 10th are the same or right next to one another. Cuomo has repeatedly said that he expects it to be even worse in the next two weeks...which is basically April 10th. Today they reported that a hospital in the mid-West is at capacity...and they will have to start deciding who lives and dies. A nurse just died today and worked at a hospital in NYC where they are wearing trash bags. Besides the sh*tty #s that Interscope and Gaga do care about (and the fact that the media won't pay a lick of attention for the most part on the 10th), some of y'all are so stuck in stan twitter that you can't read the mood....the PR would be almost R. Kelly bad for her to be dancing around in a colorful outfit on IG, shilling her album to fans, when there are bound to be a million headlines about "800 people dead today" and "local ice rink now being used as a morgue" and so on. You’re being way too dramatic about this. Is anyone hating on Dua for releasing a disco-pop album rn? No. She’s being PRAISED for releasing just that, precisely in this period. The end. People are smart enough to separate entertainment from the news. And if you seriously think everyone is chained to their tv to watch images of people dying 24/7 I don’t know what to say. Except people like to drag Gaga for absolutely everything while Dua can apparently do no wrong. There’s a huge double standard Spoiler Just like everyone whines about Gaga’s roots but then they stan this mess reality’s tight if the music is right
RAMROD 109,634
Y'all acting surprised that pop listeners is backing up Dua since they are really needing new music right now and they no one else gonna release anything soon because of CO19, and it turns out an earworms too, which really helps. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

The only people who obsess about sales and streaming are over zealous fans and now, sadly, Gaga. Didymus is right, Gaga has made on of the dumbest decisions of her career. She could have been painted as the next Jesus, saving the world in a crisis like Dua is rn now, but nope. Oh well. And you call yourself Kindness Punk, oh well. This is pretty much it. Little monsters are obsessed with Gaga releasing Chromatica as planned and somehow saving the "gays" from something. Look at how they're treating Dua. It looks innocent but their obsession reeks of "she is THE gay queen. She's saving US gays!" These are artists with jobs. Unfortunately, the world is not all fairies and unicorns, and as nice it would be for Gaga to release Chromatica next month, because "everybody needs to escape and listen to music right now!1!!!1!", it would be a dumb move and sabotage an entire era that has clearly been carefully thought through. She can release the album on the 10th, and two weeks later the world erupts into turmoil and chaos, and nobody will give a **** that The Weeknd/Dua/Gaga released music. Yes, nobody knows what the outcome of the pandemic will be and how long most of the world will remain in isolation. We DO know, however, that Gaga has an entire vision for the album that she is not willing to sacrifice just to be viewed as some apocalyptic/coronavirus saviour. There are people who need to be paid with the profits from the album. It is not just about the music; like, at all. A lot of you need to get it into your HEADS that, as much as she says it, we are NOT her priority right now and releasing an album is NOT her priority right now, nor should it be anybody's priority. If you want escapism, pretend to be a worm and slither around in the dirt outside your house. Gaga made the right choice and the era will exist on her terms. Not because an angry stan on a forum said so.

Her promo was well underway before COVID-19 got serious though. I do believe a majority of the people praising come from gay twitter too. Plus we all know Gaga never gets the press she deserves, to the point she has to be dragged in some of the FN reviews. This is not a direct comparison. The end.
