unlike Lady Gaga, who has postponed the release of Chromatica until later in 2020, Lipa brought the release date forward by a week, because “the thing we need the most at the moment is joy”

Of course she did because we needed joy and not because it leaked :sure:

Critics overrate pop stars these days.  This is headed for a 80+ metacritic score despite being the 2020s version of Teenage Dream (which was far better btw)

Oh I see, now's the time where everyone that's upset Gaga postponed her album will bash her to the pits of hell, just like ARTPOP era.

Truly "the two of them battle for best vocals, a war Gaga clearly won" review of Hey Girl, a song about female empowerment and togetherness teas.

Also I'm pretty sure if this was Gaga, the critics would say it's "tone deaf" to be having fun at a time like this. They would also bring up the leak as a reason why it was released earlier. Gaga can't win with music critics.

Y’all literally copy paste threads from ATRL huh lmfao

No... ATLR claimed more than one critic was bashing her which is not the case. That OP also misquoted the review and I didn't.

Bye girl.

The fact that Gaga is overshadowing Dua when it’s supposed to be her moment. They just can’t seem to keep Gaga out of their mouths. They can’t praise Dua without mentioning Gaga lol. Like, Gaga really lives on their mind rent-free. It’s so funny to me. :billie:

unnecessary shade.

"Dua Lipa finds the sound that Lady Gaga has been chasing for years"  Gaga comes up with a different sound on each album, doing whatever she likes at the moment.

"Lipa brought the release date forward by a week, because “the thing we need the most at the moment is joy”.  she just released it in advance because it leaked, c'mon!

I'm pretty sure she'd get praised for carrying on with her era and trying to entertain us. This isn't 2013 anymore. The audience loves her. They're not clicking on articles bashing her anymore (thank god).

Yikes so you’ve seen the source material and are insisting on sharing a review from a publication that got 14 likes on twitter from the reviewer? All to generate more vitriol for the artist you like so much you’re on a message board dedicated to them? Worst fan base ever
