She was largely responsible for bringing dance-pop to radio.. the whole music industry changed because of The Fame. She reinvents herself literally every time she releases an album.. 80's Pop/Rock, Electro, Country, Jazz, whatever genre ASIB falls under.. she hasn't done THAT to be dragged like this. maryloo 547 Posted March 26, 2020 Share Posted March 26, 2020 I am loving Dua's new sound, but that's because it's comforting and nostalgic and reminds me of the sound from '08-'14. I do agree that I think it wasn't a great idea for Gaga to delay Chromatica. At worst, I think she should have delayed the album with the statement that it was so they could strategize a new promo plan in the world of social distancing. This is the type of thing our girl used to be golden at. I have to believe the label pushed this, not her. But Future Nostalgia does sound A LOT like how I envisioned LG5 to sound like prior to Mark Ronson coming into play. And whatsmore - it's an incredibly good album. As usual, the singles are great and the album is full of filler. Nothing on it compares to Physical or Don’t Start Now. We live in a world where people really put effort in comparing two artists by album release dates, their sound and their decisions... This is so pathetic. We are so lucky to have Gaga she saved so many lives, inspired so many artists, contributed so much to the world. She really deserves another planet to live on. Even Jesus was betrayed so this attitude is no surprise. Human beings are such a disappointing life form. Gaga if you read this (even if you probably took the decision to defend yourself from this negative stan culture a long time ago) please know that some of us have still love you from day one. Thank you so much for always bringing us to new sounds, new concepts, new unexpected roads. Thank you for not being a "slave to the blond or the culture of the popular" . Thank you for having a sense of dimension and always bringing something that ages like fine wine no matter what the industry and other artist are doing. Gaga just released a jazz, country-pop and powerballad/poprock/americana albums like.... And she would've even been ahead of the curve with Stupid Love if it was released back in March 2019, however that was impossible due to Shallow stomping on everyone's neck.
