Charts are relative, so this wouldn't affect Chromatica's chart run. It only hurts the revenue.

I have too much anxiety to really calm down and take in music like that right now. The closest I've gotten to feeling anywhere near ok is when I took edibles on Saturday with a glass of wine and watched Booksmart and 2 John Mulaney comedy specials. I had a nice facetime group chat last night, and that helped me a bit too. I feel like movies/tv are offering more of an escape than music for some reason. Maybe because the senses are more loaded? 9 minutes ago, Keanu Reeves said: usually only listen to music when driving other times it's watching youtube/music videos on youtube This could be it - I feel like this fits most people's habits. That, plus a lot of news whatching In any case the drop is not that significant. It's modest. It didn't increase like some thought it would but the decline is not that significant either Again radio is the one that really gets hammered

I know I've been watching Netflix and Hulu more than usual, and maybe when it comes to music, people prefer watching videos over listening to the music for similar reasons. Agree. While a lot of us listen to music at home, I feel like a big chunk of people mostly listen to music while commuting, at parties, or while they are at the gym/going for a run. Yeah I know. That's not what I was getting at at all tho. I was just saying overall streams are still down because the increase in video streaming was lower than the decrease in pure music streaming But on that note, since SL is doing much better on radio relative to streaming, Gaga really got screwed by this

Yeah if ppl are at home and do choose to listen than can play the videos while they are at it if say they are on the couch or in the living room Ur not gonna stream a video at the gym or car So this change in source of streaming is not surprising
